Finalists develop pacesetting memoir
Finalists develop pacesetting memoir The graduating class of 2010 has put together a book summarizing their lives in the university. 'The Year Book' as it is called is the first to ever be developed by a graduating class in the region. It is a development on the concept that was back then in high school where people kept contacts of their school mates.

The Year Book is the best way to keep all graduating students in touch as it has contact details of every finalist alongside their headshot image. The book will greatly help develop the Strathmore Alumni network as the graduating students get into different fields of practice. The memoir is published by the Strathmore Alumni Liaison Office (SALO).

The first ever to be done in the university, the book contains comments from the finalists about how the university has impacted on their lives. Lecturers have also given their experiences while teaching them.

"Everyone has been dreaming about coming up with something of this kind, and we thank God we finally are the ones to execute it," Said Michelle Maloba the editor. "This book is only a précis of the several years that you spent in Strathmore; the people you came across every day, the lecturers who inspired you and the events you witnessed," she added.

The year book contains pictorial news of events that students undertook besides their class work. These range from sports to clubs and societies activities. The finalists had a special dinner in March of this year and several photos of the event are put up in the colorful book.

The book is available on reservation basis. Payment can be done to the University cashiers.
